Common questions

A reminder didn’t fire
Check Settings → Notifications → Habit Tracker and make sure notifications are allowed. If Focus or a sleep schedule is active at the reminder time, iOS holds the notification until the Focus ends. Reminders are scheduled locally, so they also need the app to have been opened at least once since the habit was created.
My widget is out of date
Widgets are refreshed by iOS on its own budget, and check-ins made in the app can take a moment to appear. Tapping the widget itself always updates it immediately. If it stays stale, remove the widget and add it again.
I bought Pro and it isn’t unlocked
Open Settings → Restore Purchases in the app while signed in to the same Apple Account you purchased with. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, so a new device restores them for free.
How do I move my habits to a new iPhone?
On the old device, go to Settings → Backup → Export and save the JSON file (to Files, iCloud Drive, or share it to yourself). On the new device, go to Settings → Backup → Import and pick that file. Because everything is stored on-device, this export is the only copy — make one before you wipe the old phone.
Can I get my data out?
Yes, and it is never gated behind Pro. Export a complete JSON backup, or a CSV of every check-in for your own analysis, from Settings → Backup.
A streak looks wrong
Streaks follow the habit’s schedule: on a weekday or times-per-week habit, days off are not misses and do not break the streak. Check the schedule on the habit’s detail screen. If it still looks wrong, email us with the habit name and roughly which dates are affected.
How do I delete everything?
Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device permanently. There is no server-side copy for us to delete, because there is no server — so export a backup first if you want to keep your history.
